We specialize in designing machines, integrating complete systems, and managing projects for the fish and food processing industries. Our comprehensive solutions encompass everything from design to production and installation of integrated processing systems.
How we work.
Analyzing
The challenge
Before proposing solutions, we take time to listen to your story and understand your needs. This helps us identify the challenges you face and clarify the goals you want to achieve. We also value visiting your production facility to learn about your processes and products.
We will recommend a suitable solution once we've gathered all the necessary information.
Planning
The project
Each project is unique, so it's importantto think carefully before acting. During planning, we will assemble a project team that includes a project manager and an engineer from Afak and you as the customer ensuring alignment and collaboration.
We focus on creating a realistic timeline to help you meet your commissioning deadline.
Engineering
The solution
After planning, the project will move into the engineering stage. Our experienced engineers will develop a 3Dmodel based on your wishes and goals established during the inventory phase.
Clear communication among all project team members is essential for creating an effective solution. To facilitate this and discuss engineering decisions, we will hold regular design review meetings.
Building
The construction
Once the 3D design has been approved, we will proceed to build the machines. Our skilled mechanics manufacture all components in-house, utilizing processes such as laser cutting, welding, sandblasting, and assembling the various parts.
We ensure that our machines are constructed from durable, food-grade materials capable of withstanding the harsh environments typically found in the fish and food processing sectors.
Implementing
The installation
After construction, all systems will undergo thorough testing at our factory in Katwijk. Following your approval, the installation will take place on the designated date. Our technicians will address any production issues once all systems are installed and running.
We also offer pre-installation training for your operators at our facility or on-site.
